Credit Card purchases are subject to the processors fee (3%) and those fees are non-refundable once a purchase has been made, in the event of a refund the credit card processing fee does not get refunded as the credit card company does not refund this fee to us. Layaways and Deferred Payments are Easy!
Just make a purchase on the website, choose E-transfer for payment (Canadian orders only), Confirm the order and then E-transfer at least 25% of the invoice total as a deposit to create the Layaway Order. In the notes section at checkout tell us how you would like to structure the layaway (ie. number of payments to complete etc.). We're here to help and will create a custom payment plan that works for you!

Warranty on Products:

Each manufacturer has their own indivdual policies and practices regarding warranty claims. Please refer to the manufacturers websites to review their specific policies and procedures regarding a warranty claim. Returns and Exchanges (within 15 days of receipt of purchase*):

Standard Factory Built Skate Packages:
In order to be acceptable for exchange, skates must show no sign of use and must be returned in their original packaging in order to be acceptable for exchange. We strongly recommend that you try on your skates indoors and not skate in them until you are sure of the fit. If you are unsure of what size to order, please contact us before ordering and we would be happy to do some sizing tests with you to ensure you order correctly. Our goal is to get you fitted properly the first time and if we can discuss this with you prior to ordering, your success rate will be extremely high!
1st Size Exchange Shipped Free on Standard Instock Packages!
If you have ordered a standard instock package skate and need to exchange for a size either up or down, please contact us by email with an attachment of your order and request the exchange. Your responsibility is to package and return the current skate with all original packaging in new unused condition, by a tracked shipping method. Once received, we will cover the cost of shipping back the requested size exchange if we have it instock. If not instock we can offer substitutions as available in an equivalent value Instock skate, in the requested size, OR suggest other options which may require additional cost. We will discuss all available options with you once we get your sizing exchange request. NOTE: If your initial purchase was shipped Free, you will be responsible for the cost of the return exchange shipment back to you.
Custom Built Skate Packages and Special Orders:
These orders are usually specially ordered often from multiple manufacturers for a single order, and built to order for each customer, not standard-stock products. RollerSkatin.ca cannot therefore offer refunds or exchanges on custom skates or special orders. It's our policy to answer any questions and communicate with you at the time of ordering to ensure a good fit and an appropriate skate or parts order.
Parts and Accessories:
Except for Special order items (or Not Instock), which are not returnable, standard stock Parts and Accessories to be returned must be in their original packaging and show no signs of wear. Cellophane wrapped bearings or wheels cannot be returned if the cellophane has been opened. Shipping costs incurred for the return or exchange of parts and accessories is the customer's responsibility unless an error has been made on our part. Returns for Refund:
Items must be returned with their their original packaging intact and show no signs of wear. RollerSkatin.ca will refund the customer for the purchase amount, less the initial shipping costs for non-sale, non-custom ordered products. Shipping costs incurred for a return is the customer's responsibility unless an error has been made on our part. NOTE: All refunds where the original transaction was completed by Credit Card (PayPal and SQUARE) are subject to a 3% transaction fee which will be deducted from the refund. NOTE: If your initial purchase was shipped Free, your refund will exclude the cost of the initial shipping charge.
Cancellations on Pre-Order or Stock Order Items Not Yet Shipped:
